I see chrome vc's and a stage emblem...too bad it a rusty turd http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BUIC...806?pt=Salvage_Parts_Cars&hash=item2561d5ca16
I wouldn't mind having those painted Buick rallys with the trim rings though. The wheels could be painted to match my car. I actually would prefer those to what I have 'cause I never see them.
I think its a 70 because of the caps on the wheels. If it is a 70, there is lots of money in the carb and dist.
That's not to far gone for the Pain Boys! Remember the 69 from a year or so ago? This one is at least in one piece on the trailer(or as Gary and Doug would call it) a good resto canidate.:bla: Tom
Well, his reserve has been met at $710. And the carb and distributor are still there. Now let's see where this one goes.
I don't believe the distributor is there...just the cap. Has the stage 1 fuel pump, chrome covers, fender emblem that looks correct. I asked him for a pic of the cowl vin plate.......
Seller stated that there isn't a cowl tag unless I read that wrong. If the VIN and Title can be available its just parts. What do you think the possibility of having the correct carb is on this very badly treated GS? I bet not much
I wonder what the color codes on that car is? Looks like a 19a car? Love those rims. Wondering if they are 15's. The interior looks like a 185. Could be diplomat blue as well.
It should have 3.42 rear, big block steering parts. High binder has posted 2 bid ,bet the next one is $1000
Wow $2300.00. Whatever the high bidder is smoking, I want some. Mike, you're probably right, tags and drivetrain gonna end up in a nice skylark.
Carb $1000 min, dist $1000, SS block heads intake $1500 min, BB trans $1000, 3.42 rear $1000, big block steering , tac and gauges, body plates vin plate etc etc $3500 to $4500 my guess
Seller says the instrument cluster is gone, and that the distributor WAS in the trunk, but now he can't find it. Looks to me like the entire trunk is gone. It appears the car took a hit to the rear at some point. I sent the seller a question about visible damage to rear axle, drive shaft, and tail of trans. No answer yet. IMHO this car still has the potential to be a pig in a poke. We will see. Nearly full collection of original Stage 1 parts, but buyer may find few of them usable. Remember the flooding caused by hurricane Katrina? It is possible that this car was submerged. Vancleve is not very far from the Gulf. My advice.......be careful on this one!
