Just for the record, the stereo radio has a small red light in the middle of the band selector and its a one year only deal- 1972. A very rare radio. You rarely see them come up for sale.
Are we to assume that this is for a Skyark/GS? If so, SUPER SERIOUS and need pics to junitis@twmi.rr.com.
As stated, it is in VERY nice condition, and IS the stereo version. The little red dot is on there. There is no comparing this to a mono earlier radio, the sound is fantastic. Requires the standard GM speakers. I will also be selling an 8 Track player that was NOS before installing this last fall in the same car. It will be packed back up in the original box. These were both in the car for show purposes. The combo makes an excellant addition to any "A" body car
Mark Those are so nice, it almost makes me want to buy a 72 just so I would have a use for them! Wonder if I could just hook them up to a battery in the garage......
Doesnt have to be just for a 72. You only have to appreciate a better quality sound from your speakers. :beers2:
I've never had a working radio in my car. It came with an 80s Kraco non-working cassette radio. I was thinking how nice it will be to listen to stereo.... with the top down. Oh yeah. In ragtops, the speakers are in the well and pretty much useless when the tops down. Which is how I always drive.:spank: ou: So on that note, I will pass and defer to second in line. Dang it! Well, at least there's no shortage of interested partys.
OK, Well kevin is out, so we has Serious and Super Serious and Don Batter up! $375, plus $22.00 to pack and ship
SO...I guess I'm UP!? WooooHooooo! Where do I send the MONEY!!!??? BUT FIRST..you dont mention if this raddidio works or not??? yes? No? Dunno? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Wheelz There is a post from Buick fan before you, he wanted to see a picture and was going to send mea PM, of which I never received. In all fairness, lets allow him the opportunity to decide. If no answer, then on we go
Per post # 7 "The sound is fantastic!" I guess that means it works!:TU: I give credit to Mark for not gouging Members. He could probably get more going the Ebay route. Heck, I could even buy it, sit on it and make a few bucks in a couple of months. But fair is fair, people expressed interest, and somebody is going to end up with a gem! There are more out there guys! I was outbid maybe a year ago at $350 on Ebay.
PM box is now empty. The 8 track is $400.00 which includes the original box , all items required to hook it up, and the original instructions, plus the original Buick "The Sound Around Us" demo 8 track. I did open the 8 track to try the player out. On the stereo radio, it sounded awesome. Couldnt believe I was listening to 40 year old technology. If both items are purchased togeather, $750.00 If you want, you can also call me as I will be in the car shop today. 319-361-6465
