N25 Tips---original part #s???

Does anybody have or know the GM part #s for the original N25 tips? I see they are for sale at several vendors as reproductions. Are there any NOS pieces out there? Any in original packaging with the part #s? Prices?

 

I you ever find any NOS tips, expect to pay around $700-800. That's if you can even find a set. The part number is #1236877.

No need. Those pics are the closest I ever got to NOS tips. :ball:

 

NOS peices will be imperfect and maybe some shelf rust so why spend the money? Buy the repros.

Wow we bought a set of NOS tips a few years ago for $400 and thought it crazy to pay that much. Man how times have changed. I better start locking the garage door.

 

If you're using stock size exhaust(gardner) the repo's wont fit ..
and if you're picky originals were chrome not polished stainless .

The last NOS set I saw was at Bowling Green about 10 years ago and IIRC the bidding stopped at @$600. My cars have 2.5" exhaust so I've got Reproductions from Steve on them.

 

DL, Gardner sells their exhaust systems for N25 with repro tips so they get them to fit somehow. chack out their site.

I have a pair of N25 NOS tips, I would need to find them, but could look if anyone is interested.

They won't be cheap.
