    Info to everyone:

Only a 65-68 Lesabre (with power steering) Center Link will work. even a 68 Lesabre without powersteering is differrent.

    To my best knowledge:

67-68 Riviera, Wildcat & Electra all have the same Center Link, (correct me if Im wrong)

I show that the Group number was revised to 6.870. I think it is called the steering knuckle intermediate rod in the parts books. We always called it the drag link. At least subject to correction this is how I identify it in the parts books. If I am correct and it is for a car with power steering, the part number I show is:

    # 1379899 for a 5000 series car like a Lesabre. This is the same number for all 5000 series cars with power steering from 1965-68.(only LeSabres)

For a car without power steering for 1966-68 use #5697505 which again are only used on 5000 series cars.

An Electra is an 8000 series car and I show it uses another number. Also Wildcats are 6000 series cars and appear to use another number.

So I show the correct donors to be LeSabres and LeSabre Customs for 1965-68 if it has power steering and 1966-68 if it had regular (manual) steering.

Hmm. Intresting, Ive collected my info from comparing CARS, Kanter and Rare Parts catalog. Even CARS told its a same part for 68 Lesabre & 68 Wildcat, but I got pictures of them both and they are totally differrent.

I just cheked Rare Parts catalog and Indeed they show that a 65-68 Lesabre with power steering is the same center link. Good info to know. THANKS! I corrected my previous post to more accurate.

I just checked my early MOOG catalog, and the correct part # is ES 730 for a '65-'68 Le Sabre, with power steering.

I am not saying that it is the correct number. I am saying that when you go to Amazon and put in 68 LeSabre this is the result I received for the Moog centerlink. I reran the number today and it says that this number does not fit a 68 leSabre. Sorry for the false hope.

I am a dealer for Rare Parts, so I can get you a discount on a "new reconditioned" center link . I have helped a number of people out by getting them what they need at a reduced price. Let me know. Thanks, Bob.

What happened with the core that "Rusty" had? He wouldn't have to send it to Finland; as long as Rare Parts gets a core, we should be good to go. Bob.
