I think a lock and wheel lock would be good but whats good and whats not so good? Its a 2 5/16 ball trailer. Thanks
I lock my tongue in the closed position and use a Reese receiver lock in the ball receiver. http://www.amazon.com/Reese-Towpowe...UH46/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1326996067&sr=8-2 I think the Reese piece can be compromised quickly as it doesn't seem beefy enough. The other think I do is use two cables (one per side) and run them through the slots in the wheels and lock with a decent padlock. That's easily defeated with a pair of spare wheels, but it makes it a PITA to a thief and adds time to an attempted theft. If someone really wants your trailer, they're going to get it. The more deterrents you can add to have a thief move on the better. I think that's about all you can do...
a good old fashioned star wheel is my cup of tea, because its a basic clean yet attractive lookin design, but for some reason the NT03M is one of my favorites
I once bought a special hook in the store. I don’t remember exactly what kind of company, but that company is Carid legit dealer
I have this style on both of my trailers. https://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-...ords=trailer+hitch+lock&qid=1588946527&sr=8-3
I use the same as 2001ws6......then I have a pad lock through the latch hole, wheel locks under my center caps, and thick weather proof pad locks on all my bar locks........best I can do to my stuff as mine
Nice choice Guy. I usually have two. A Glock 27 .40 and a S&W 686 .357. I haven't had anybody try to "pick" either of those...
After watching these videos I'd go with the Ft. Knox and the Glock (or similar). Very impressive https://ftknoxlocks.com/lock-fails
