You would probably have to find the most stripped model of LeSabre, to come up with that part. Can't imagine there was ever an Electra built without at least an AM radio. Good luck, and if you come up with the part, I want pics! David
Thanks David! It would look something like that! Having absolutely NO LUCK whatsoever finding it! http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=163025
While we`re on the topic I seen a 65 lesabre in a junk yard many years ago with a radio delete. I should have grabbed it. The car had a power trunk setup which I grabbed. Go figure it. John
Try Wheatbelt Antique Auto parts......most of the delete plates that i have seen have came from out in the plains states. They did not have a lot of radio stations out there and the farmers were a little more frugal with their spending money when they ordered new cars back then. Peace WildBill
I was hoping that someone on the board would have it, but I think I have a better chance just finding a new stereo to put in there that will fit with the dash.
Not sure either... don't know how the plates attach to the dash (bezels). Sizes of the radios are comparable Never gave it any thought till I noticed this delete plate on Buick Farm. This ones is black where earlier years should have the woodgrain (?):
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yes, the 72 would've been woodgrain. I keep searching everywhere. Craigslist. Ebay. And then every couple months I try here again. NO. LUCK.
ive got a clock delete for a 72 lesabre. if the part that holds everything ie dash cluster light switch radio clock is cut up iv got a few taking up space in my garage.
