Hi All I need some help locating some small parts for a 67 GS. The logos on the quarter panels are held on with a tin acorn looking nut. Where can I get some? The headlight doors are mounted with 4 screws that go into plastic receptors that are mounted to the core support. These receptors have a metal pin that is pushed in from the engine side to force the receptor apart and thus fasten it to the support. Where can I get the receptors and pins? I know I can probably find something in a wrecking yard - but would prefer new. Thanks for the help.
I've got most of that which I took of the '67 i parted out, if you can't find a new source let me know and I'll pull out the stuff I have.
I think you can get the headlight plastic posts from CARS. The acorn nuts are tough...you can get some from AMK that are close.
Try google Mr G Fastners. mrgusa.com?? I'm sure they will have the acorn nuts. They may have the headlight pieces also First post hope I got it right R69GS
If you go to page #2, post #44 in my parting out thread there is a picture of the plastic bits I'm talking about, along with the screws. I'm pretty sure I pulled them all off. I did notice I see two different types, and I recall the tops being different than the bottom ones. o No: http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?248528-1967-Skylark-4-door-Post-Sedan&p=2056346#post2056346
