Congrats on the new car UL LUZE ! Thats a great color combo . Did you find that here in the states or is that a Canadian car ?
Thanks Ken! I found the car in Lowell, Indiana. It was in West Virginia before that, and Denver CO originally. Looks nice and solid in all of the normal problem areas, so thats why I bought it. The car needs some cosmetic and mechanical fixes, but shouldn't be too bad. :beer
Just a few last pictures of my "blue" car before she heads off to her new owner. "Farewell" She will be missed, but going to a good home!! Steve
Nice to see another local Buick guy! There's not too many of us in this area... Hope to see your car sometime! Looks like it will be REAL nice... I just picked up my 72 about a month ago. My first car was a silver 72 Skylark Custom (that was actually in Amherstburg for a few years). It needs some work, but I'm not planning on a total restoration by any means. Some interior work (bucket seat/console conversion) for now and probably a paint job next winter. :beer
Yeh, your right, there aren't a lot of us around Essex county. I know of maybe five, only one other 70 though. Good luck with your project and happy Buickin Chris
. Here is a pic of my 66 gs. It's a original astro blue car but I painted her this dark blue back in high school. Eventually ill paint her back to original.
That's pretty! Can't wait to get my car back to it's original Astro Blue color. Previous owner painted mine Black, but where the black paint is coming off the Astro Blue is shining through, so it's trying to get itself back to original.
