    Hi Guys,

It's been a while since I have posted, but I call her "Psycho Lark". Just about done, got new rims and tires, all Micky Thompson, rims are double beadlock. Big bucks.... but it looks cool. I have to do electrical, run fuel and brake lines, need lexan glass, I think thats it. Would you guys put the "Psycho Lark" across the side??? Let me know your thoughts.

    Lawrence

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

I think using that name would be outstanding. It would sure do justice to your work. That car is bitchin'.

    Re: "Psycho Lark" Tow Vehicle

    Hi Guys,

This is also another project, as if one is not enough!!! This will be "Psycho Lark's" tow vehicle. It will be painted the same color as the race car, will have air ride suspension, similiar rims, but 19"s up front and 20's out back, but tastefully. If those won't fit, then we go smaller. It has to have good suspension, brakes, because it will be towing. there was a similiar wagon in Car Craft, a few years ago, that was awesome. I had this idea for a long time, but no $$$$ to complete the project. I was inspired by how "TV Tommy Ivo" used to tow his cars. First, in open trailers with Riveria's or Caddy's, then he switched to enclosed trailers, with glass sides! It's cool when you trailer with open flatbeds, so everyone see's them! It's always "thumbs up" when your driving!!

No way should you put any name on that car! It looks BAD ASS just the way it sits!! The cleaner the better IMHO. The only thing I would do to that car is paint the taillight surround and inner trunk panel satin black the way it's supposed to be. It would look much better and more original. But that's only my opinion. Do what you like.

I like your tow vehicle too! I don't know if your lookin' but, I have an NOS RR sportwagon wheel well molding if your interested. Good luck with your projects, Nick

Absolutely Killer!! Nice job. The car sits right and looks just terrific! What kind and how big of a "rubber band" do you have? More pictures!!

(Personally I would leave the name off, or at least use a removable thin magnetic sticker. That's just too nice to "letter up", but it's your car! I like things neat and clean looking and you've accomplished that!) Maybe a small sticker on the deck lid?

    Hi Steve,

I know this is V8 Buick, but it's a 540 Big Block Chevy on alcohol.

I agree, I had definitley thought about the removable sticker!! Maybe put em on when I run it, take em off when I show it.

Wow, love it. And pairing the tow vehicle with the same year wagon? Awesome. I like the magnetic sticker idea for the Psycho Lark lettering. That way you can choose when and when not. Work the kinks out of the race car and then once it's worthy of the name, stick them on, it'll be a track favorite. The wagon will tow awesome with native Buick torque.

I sure like the looks of it as it sits. I too, have always wanted a wagon for a tow vehicle.

What times are you looking to turn? Should be fun!

I run what looks to be a similar build only in a 1970 body style. I run a 523 stock block Buick and run mid to low 9's. I have an aluminum Tomahawk block sitting waiting for more time and money. When that gets built I expect to run mid 8's.
Once you go that fast with these heavy cars (around 3000 lbs) they all cost money... no mater what flavor!

Good luck and like I said before... Killer Car!!

Haha, I was gonna bust your chops about that comment until I saw he posted that its a big block Chevy. That said, its still an awesome looking piece nonetheless. I know its borderline sacrilege around here, but BBC or not, I'd own it! (With a possible future engine swap, Haha)

    The car speaks for itself....

I do like the deck lid idea.

You should be proud of that ride.
