Thanks Todd - won't be too much longer before we get to see it.

Kyle at Laid Back Recreations does an awesome job on paint, and the cool thing is he knocks them out - no paint jail.

    How's your car coming along?

    Hey Steve,

Mine is coming along slowly I received my interior door panels and am fitting them now. I am putting 2dr hardtop interior in my post car that is a bit of a project for the rear panels. but the fronts fit like a glove. The rear seat is out of a hardtop also so there is some fitting there with the arm rest bolsters but it is coming along. Thanks for asking

Had to change out the brakes from CPP units because the narrowed rear end put the parking brake ear right up against the frame. Wilwood offers a narrower Superlite brake setup in a variety of offsets that worked out perfectly.

Changed out the fronts to match as well.

Threw the interior in after spraying the inside to get a feel for how it would look.

    K. That's cool. Let me know if you change your mind. Keep the pics coming. Let me know if you are going anywhere near Dallas I'd like to see the car in person if possible.

    Hey Steve
That is really looking sharp. The guy I was talking to you about that had the convertible called me Sunday before I got back to the toll booth after meeting you.
Wanted to know if I would still give him $2000 for the car. I am thinking long and hard on that project.

    Any way great job

did you use a flat or stain red on the interior? thought about doing that on mine rather than the exterior white on the dash and tops of the doors.

Looks great! Lots of inspiration for my pt junker. What made go with impaled buckets? They did a great job with that upholstery.

I would think that $2,000 would be in the ball park for that car, a no brainer if the floorboards were good . Keep me posted on what transpires.

An episode of Overhaulin aired this week on a car just like it. Check it out.

It's a red that I had mixed to match the interior. Base coat with clear mixed in before spraying.

Me too. Kind of gives it some POP!

I went with these buckets because they were available and because I love chrome!

    Thank you sir!

    Hope everyone enjoyed Mothers Day!
