Looks like I'm the first to send out a big thank you to Dave and Terry for another successful Martin race. The weather was Chamber of Commerce perfect and everyone I saw, talked with or raced with were having a ball. No grips at that I heard, just all a very positive vibe at the event. Who ever matched the pairings up did a super job. I ran against Ted Harbit and in 2 of the 3 pairings the win/lose difference was .0011 and .006, neither of us knew who won until we got our timing tickets. That was fun, hard racing and as good as it gets. Thank you gentlemen for a very pleasurable 2 days. See everyone in Stanton. Thomas
Can't say thank you enough! Was a great weekend.... Set a new personal best. Gettin my car figured out. And just plain learning how to drive it!! (Still think it's MISSING A PEDAL !!) Pairings were GREAT, all looked Very Close Rhonda and I had a Great Time, Running the cars is big fun- but the Real fun was hanging with great friends.. Hope everyone made it home safe and look forward to seeing you all soon.. :TU:
Thanks guy's.. Had a great time.. Great to see all and share some laughs, food, and booze.. Team Canada and the Simpson boy's Cheers...
Thank You to Terry, Dave, anyone else who helped with organizing the event, track personnel and my fellow racers for another fine event!
Thanks Dave & Terry. Thanks to the 131 staff. Had a good weekend. Great to get back together with everyone at the track for fun.
It's been 3 years since I've hit the track. I had a great time and thank you for putting it all together. Thank you NPD for sponsoring the weekend. Jim
I had a great time flogging the Jim Jarrett rental ! It takes a lot of work to put these events together and I want to thank Terry and Dave for their efforts. Next FAST race is Muscle Palooza over Labor Day weekend. Check the website for details. Fastdrags.com
I would like to add my thanks to Dave and Terry also. Really appreciate all the time and work they put in to put this event on. I'm sure there may be others involved and if so, thanks to those people also. Love these races and appreciate also the way the personnel worked to help with the double duty the Tomato had running two competitors this time. Their cooperation was super. And as usual Thomas and Yvonne were great to compete with. On the next FAST race Donny referenced to, I would love to go as it might be my last chance to attend that and I've always wanted to go to one but not sure about a trip that long, especially in my old truck traveling about 1800 mile round trip (might be able to talk Bob Palma into hauling the Tomato-hint Bob). Having never attended this, are there any tips or suggestions anyone might pass along? Thanks again Dave and Terry!
Yes; a great time with Chamber of Commerce weather. Thanks to all. Ted referenced Hemmings MusclePalooza in the fall. We're planning to make it once, as it is on both our bucket lists. :Brow: BP
Check your trailer tires and wheel bearings, and bring a cell phone and a little cash. It's worth the drive if you can get there. I've probably hauled cross country more than most of us, and that's the best advice I can give. PM me if you have any questions. Steve
Good tips! Just to add, have the cell numbers of people who live along the route to call if you have a need. Mine is 8 1 4 - 2 2 7 - 8 9 0 4
