Thanks guys for all the prayers and well-wishes. Rita had her first chemo treatment yesterday. She was at the hospital for close to 10 hours. She had a little nausea but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. She went out today and got a wig in preparation for next week. The doctor said she would start losing her hair by this time next week. Rita is in good spirits and is determined to beat this cancer. Please keep the prayers coming!
Prayers to your wife and family. I went thru chemo for Hodgkins Lymphoma near 5 years ago, its been in remission since, I thank God for that. I feel for anybody that has cancer in ANY form! God bless you and your family.
Mike still praying for your wife and you as well. My wife actually got a kick out of the wig thing when she went thru chemo. A lot of people would donate them so there were a lot to choose from so she got a different one each trip. Keep a close eye on your wife's oncologist. My wifes oncologist was a dud but her cancer was caught early and he did not have to do much. My moms cancer was complicated and when the oncologist started struggling we went to a specialist which in this case was the only one in North Carolina. He did wonders for her.
Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers! My wife went for her third chemo treatment this past Monday. She got some good news - her blood work looked great and they downgraded her cancer from stage 4 to stage 3! Keep the prayers coming, they seem to be working! Mike
Prayers sent. Cancer sucks, but when we all join the fight, we can kick its ass. Give Rita a hug from us all.
I'm taking Rita for her fourth chemo treatment tomorrow morning. She has been doing good but she always gets nervous when it is time for chemo. Thanks for the continued prayers!
