    Hi gents.
I'm over in the UK and I'm a big American car fan. I currently run three Mustangs . But I've noticed a great looking BUICK GS 400 Stage 1 1969 on ebay over here in the UK. Item number below, it's been on the bay a while. I'm interested in this car but know nothing about them apart from they look great. Could some one tell me if this car looks authentic. I noticed a column shift but my research shows they only had floor shifters. I'm just concerned if it's the correct model, there was a base model on recently the same year and that was half the price, so I don't want to be taken for a ride. Also I read there were problems with engines on these due to lack of oil getting down below, is that correct.

    Any information would help.

    Thanks.

At the very least, I'd like to know what the VIN # is. Very little information in that ad. The pictures don't help at all I'm afraid. Even with that blurry 3rd picture, I can see the steering wheel has been replaced. I'd like to see the engine compartment. I think the valve covers should be chrome. Not enough there to say if the car is real.

That car has been owned by at least two board members, and was a nice example of what a 69 car should be
