Mama has decided to move to an 'Independent Living" center. It's run by the neighboring town's hospital board. It's very nice well run place.
We'll have to sell Mom's condo. (where I've been living to look after my Mom since Dad died, but I can't tend enough to Mama and go to work, too)

So, I'm looking for a place, too.
I'm hoping to find a home close to Mom's new place.

So, please pray for us as Mom and I each make these next steps in our journey.

Prayers that you both settle happily into new homes and for Mom to thrive with the 24/7 care she'll have available. You're a good Son.

Prayers for you and your mom, James! I've missed you at the cruise-in's, we had a great one in Alabaster last Saturday.

    Thanks Mike.

Mom, will be at the Oaks Parkwood on 150.
I'm looking for something along Morgan Road, so we'll practically be neighbors.
I've been driving weddings most Saturdays.
    This is our busy time.
I did get to the Alabaster Cruise for April.

Your wife is in my Prayers.
I hope she is doing well.

Praying for you and your mom. I was caregiver for my mom for about 5 years, not always easy. You kinda expect your parents to live forever and be in good health as well. To bad it can't be like that.

We're getting Mom's things packed away.
My Sister has been coming over and packing our Mom's stuff up each day.

Mama's in real good spirits. She seems excited about her new place.

I'm still looking for a place for my self.

I'll bet you are finding many family treasures and momentos. Hard to decide, when down-sizing, what stays and what goes. Cool that Mom has a positive attitude. New chapter in life for both of you. I wish you both the best.

James, I haven't been on the site for awhile-hospital time with Holly....but I will pray for you and your mom. Enjoy all the time with her while she's still around. Moms rock!

I've got five brothers and two sisters and ten nieces and nephews.
Mama has decided what to keep and what to leave.
My siblings and I have divided everything up and thee was no fussing or fighting.
Everyone decided I should get all Dad's automobile stuff and books.
They are all dividing everything else.
There's a lot of books and pictures.
And each person has a stack of stuff.

I just heard Mom opening one of the boxes my sister packed today.
I went in the room and asked her; "Mom, what are you hunting?":Do No:
Mom; "I'm getting these Pizza plates out. I'm not moving for ten days. And I'll want some Pizza before then.":)

Same here. Still one of my favorite foods, even after dealing with it for over 11years.
