Hey guys, I took the Buick out for its first AutoX this weekend. I've Autocrossed other cars in the past, but nothing like this, so it was a steep learning curve. I got much better as the day progressed, but there was definitely a lot left on the table in terms of my driving, so I'm looking forward to getting more seat time this summer in other time attack style events. It's definitely not the best tool for the job in terms of small scale autocross, but it's the most fun I've ever had at an event. Get out there and drive 'em! Thats awesome man. The car looks wicked. What level of UMI Suspension do you have? I'm thinking I may just go Stage 4 and get it over with. Kind of the hit it with the biggest thing you've got perspective.
I will be joining you soon my friend. Looks like you had a blast. Where did you go? Sears Center? Got a few things to get straight first but soon.:TU:
Yea, Sears center. I didn't realize there was another 68-69 so similar close by. It's rare I run into another one in any color or setup. Yours looks to be shaping up nicely. Hopefully I'll see you around soon!
I've been wanting to play and hope to get out soon. If you plan to go again PM me I'd like to check it out. It would be fun to have two red haired Stepchild's out there. Who'd a thunk? I'd definitely need a wheel and tire change but that's coming soon. :TU:
