Having had the opportunity to take the early 80's Weld mag wheels on and off the vehicle a few times, I'm ready to go back to stock wheels on the 1970 Wagon. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a vendor? I've seen a number of hubcaps on eBay, but not a lot of (original style) wheels. My shop manual specifies 15 X 6, 5 studs, 5" diameter. I presume these were fairly common across GMs, across multiple years. If I'm mistaken, please correct me.

I looked at Coker and found these: https://www.cokertire.com/o-e-style-chevy-wheel-primed.html

    Thanks for the help.

What about a set of Buick rallys? There have been some sets for sale on the forum. 5 on 5" bolt circle.

Thanks for the thought. We've discussed that option, but our wagon has a pretty laid-back look. I'm not sure if the rallye style will quite fit.

Might be a fitting addition to a 455 wagon IMO. :)

No, nothing wrong with that, I agree. Just not quite the look we're going for. This ebay listing has the hubcaps I'm imagining: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-USED-70-B...ash=item51d91abd77:g:LYAAAOSw0HVWDGZF&vxp=mtr

On a related note, what is the offset on the OEM wheels for this year? My manual doesn't address that specification, as far as I can tell. Is it 0"?

Haven't found the exact offset yet but, the correct wheel for all Estate Wagons is a 15 x 6JJ with 5 on 5.0 stud circle. In case you haven't researched it yet, the original tires on Estate Wagons was the L78-15 which was even larger than on Electras or Rivs. Current replacement tire is either a 235/75 x 15 or, if you want a little wider, 255/70 x 15. Someone should be able to come up with the offset. I think it would be zero offset or, 3 in. backspacing.

I think I may have what you are looking for. Not sure what they are worth. I'm sure those knowledgeable will tell us. Buick Caps 4 (1).jpg Buick Caps 3 (1).jpg One set of four and the other a threesome.

Jerry, the set of 4 in the first pic is what I think I want. I'm not certain of market value, either.

This is where I need help as well. Guys? What's fair for us both?

Research of eBay actual sales indicates that wheel covers of the 60s & 70s are selling in the $25-$35 each range. Full sets go from $100 to $125 depending on condition. Hope this is helpful.

Yes, thanks, Ray for the eBay research.

Jerry, I'll send you a PM regarding the hubcaps you have.

    Thanks everyone for your help!
