Getting close to the end of this build. Version 1.0 was built in the early 90's and crashed (totaled) in '97. Stashed what I could save from that one, and waited for the time to build another one. Well, here it is! This one has a 462 Stage 1 engine that ran 13.00 in my other car (which is a few hundred pounds heavier) . Hoping to get some 12.80's out of this one. If it ever stops raining here, I can get her outside for some daylight shots.
I like it! A lot of guys on here might cry foul but if Buick made one it would have looked like yours. If there is one 69 Skylark out there that just begs for an N-25 bumper it is yours. I am sure Wheelz would love to sell it to you. BTW. That last pic makes me want to cry. Cliff
I wasn't even in the car. Loaned it to a friend, he went out drinking with another friend... they found a tree at about 50mph on the way home. Both survived but were in ICU for nearly a month.
Seriously... 50 mph?... and that's their story and they are stickin' to it. I like your new ride though. That is tastefully done. And good giddyup too :TU: I've seen a couple 68/69 wanna be GSX's that just looked tacky. I say be unique and different. I know that's why I've kept my GS for years. It's different from all the Camaros, Chevelles, etc.
