Hi. My son is building a Pro-Touring 67 GS400. He will not be using the original plastic Star Wars air cleaner. It is chipped on one of the snorkels. Knowing that the plastics technology has sufficiently evolved, I am sure there is a product out there that could be used to restore it. Anyway, he wants $300 firm for it. He may be willing to swap for related parts, or partial trade, but probably would rather sell for the cash. Parts he will need are: floor pan (both sides, or full pan) trunk pan fender front bumper rear glass Also would be interested in 1964-72 GM A Body pro-touring suspension parts to fit same. He had also talked about selling other GS-specific parts (console, grille - CRACKED, buckets, hood scoops), but I am not sure if he still feels that way. I will post the other parts in the next day or two, if that is the case. We are in Hazel, KY 42049 and will ship the air cleaner. Call/Text 270-227-6510. Ask for Dean.
I'd be interested in the grill. The air cleaner at 300 firm seems high for the condition of the cleaner and no base or nut.
I dunno if you/he will start a new thread listing those other parts, but I would be interested in the 67 hood scoops as long as they are intact and restorable with no busted mounting studs../ Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Include the base in good condition, and I'll get in line first and do the $300. Without the base it's $200 at best in that condition.
Not opened for the smog hose. I believe all were molded like this but only the Calif. cars got opened and fitted with the tube and hose. Tom
George, I believe it's still for sale but the OP(original poster?) has not been back since his original FIRST post. Tom
Will try to get some details and pics of the other parts on here in the next few days. My son, Seth, said he will sell them. The scoops he's selling with the hood, not separately. Also the steering wheel. Not great, maybe a resto project for somebody... Didn't know I had to monitor this. I guess your best bet is to PRIVATE MESSAGE ME if you are interested in anything. Those make it to my email... First come, first served. Bad weather and overtime this week. Will be a few days before I can get back to this. Thanks for your patience. Dean
Dean...FWIW.... PM's are NOT accepted as a reply to parts wanted. Interested parties MUST reply to the original thread FIRST..saves a ton of funcusion. Those interested peeps can then PM you with their intent. I am just the messenger. :Smarty: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
as asked earlier: Will he include the base for $300? You could at least respond to those who have shown interest. Geez................
I did get a response and I think because he is new to the site, he is not that familiar with how it works.
