STINGER S4 ~ Perhaps one of the BEST OLD SCHOOL electronic Ignitions systems on the market!!! ..and I approve this message. A While back, we had this distributor built for my Buddies 71 Stage 1... Local Buick Guru Ken Darby used a 67 340 base distributor 1111159 7E3, I beleive, because it had a wider range advance system for REcurve kit... ou: well, thats what I remember so I'm going with it! :bla: In the 22+ years Bob owned the car, he took many many road trips to BG and quite a few successful 1320's with this setup...it performed FLAWLESSLY! I would imagine it still has a lot of life in it! When the car was restored, the new Mike Philips motor arrived pre-dialed in and setup with a new distributor, so I held onto this setup for someday. That someday is now. The 'hand etched numbers' into the back of the Stinger pod: 4 D 2152 2 90 . You will get everything as shown: 67 Distributor with 455 gear and a professionally rebuilt curve kit, Stinger High Perfomrance 55,000 volt coil #3102, in line resistor, COPPER distributor and rotor, connectors, harness and of course control module. $148.57 shipped to any lower 48! PayPal preferred ONLY if sent as FAMILY AND FRIENDS! If you are serious, Get in line here first then PM me your intent... If you are not serious, please dont. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
In Line Sir. Not that it will influence my descision on this but, Interested to know, what's the opinion of this being perfectly compatible with using a Petronix III module conversion ?
This STINGER unit is a complete ELECTRONIC IGNITION, module, distributor, harness etc.. I have never tried, nor heard of, anyone using anything aftermarket with the Stinger system other than original components. Dont quite understand the benefits of doing what you are suggesting. o No: Stinger is a VERY SUCCESSFUL and POPULAR ignition system... Wheelz, Tampa Bay
At this point, I have a fairly reasonable offer on the table that I have not accepted yet... if one of you steps up at closer to the asking price, I would consider it sold! Ben, PM with shipping details sent! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
So when the original electronic portion fails you can wire in a replacement? o No: I would guess this is the reason . . .
Ben, you werent late. . .the buyer was the initial 'reasonable offer on the table' that we just negotiated and finalized. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
