Hi, a friend of mine went to check out a 70`Olds 442 convertible today. I told him to take a shot of the cowl tag, but unlike with my GS I cannot find clear info for decoding the 442. Can some of you guys help me, especially original body color? Thanks in advance Jens

Hi guys, excellent help, as usual, you`re really great. Thank you very much for your fast help. As for the cowl tag and the lack of info on it: search the thread called "1971 Buick trim tag" you can see some more pics and get some more info on the subject. The 442 as well as my 1971 GS are all import models from GM Suisse and you find this kind of tag all over the country. Oh,by the way, here`s the convertible: https://auto.ricardo.ch/kaufen/fahrzeuge/autos/cabriolet/oldsmobile-442-cabrio/w/an504766401/ Looks good, dry unterneath, all wheelwells don`t pass the magnet test though , doors neither.... Thanks
