Any one using the G-Force crossmember? Any year, below is the link for the A Body. I am curious about your experience with it. Please post your build, pics (if you have any) and results. http://crossmembers.com/product-cat...otors-a-body-chevelle-gto-cutlass-grand-prix/ Thanks!
Works great! (Re: Any one using a G-Force cross member?) Dear Bill and V-8 Buick fans of upgraded trannys, . . . My trusty 1965 Buick Special has a 200-4R that is supported by a G-Force cross-member. The installation was reasonably straightforward. The hole didn't match up on one size, but it was easy enough to drill and tap replacements. She hasn't got a lot of miles since the installation but no problems. Here are two pictures of the installation: Here is the side view: Here are two additional pictures of the cross-member after the exhaust system was installed. Here is a side view: Here is a view looking toward the back of the car: I hope that gives you some idea of how these cross-members fit. Cheers, Edouard
I have installed a couple of these cross-members in customers cars. Quality part but ungodly heavy, not for the weight conscious owner.....
Thanks! Seems odd that it does not go all the way to the frame and you need to use an adapter at the ends. At least the weight is down low....
