68 Skylark Grill

I need a grill. Aftermarket would be just fine if I could find a source. It is my wife's car and she wants some chrome.

I would appreciate any leads or help.

I believe The Parts Place is now selling 68 Skylark/GS grilles, check their online store. No chrome surround included though. No one makes a new surround.

A 69 grill and surround will fit, but they look different from the 68's
little more chrome on the 69 surround with the mid horizontal piece.
someday I will repair my origanal grill, re chrome the surround and switch it back
but for now the 69 parts work just fine.

 

I have a 68 GS grill for sale. Listed in the parts for sale section. It's back a ways. The post includes pictures. Check it out. I will move the post back to the front.

AS A SET, the 68 grill and 68 surround, or the 69 grill and 69 surround, will fit either a 68 or 69 GS/Skylark. You just can't mix and match the 68 and 69 pieces. The surrounds are way different in design and attachments.
