I guess if a bunch of you have lost interest in your old muscle car, I will take them off your hands and continue to beat the snot out of them on the drag strip.
Seriously though, this place is dead, vwhat happened to everyone?
Can't blame it all on Facebook, not everyone gets caught up in that drama fest.

Where are you, and what are you working on? We are building a 69 GS 400 4 speed for my boy. He is young, so I may have to run it for a couple years to get the bugs worked out of it for him before he gets his license :Brow:

I don't post too often. Been working on my car when the weather is warm enough. Otherwise I just lurk.

Tom, mine is in the shop finishing up on body & getting ready for paint. Going on 15 months. During the down time I have been busy sourcing parts, refinishing the frame, rebuilding the suspension and refinishing parts. I continue to go on the boards every day!

The last few weeks I've spent moving my machine shop. I've managed to stuff it all into 1100 sq ft down from from 1800 sq ft. I had to put half my 455's at a friends house. I'm already starting to miss them. During the move the temp never went above single digits until this last week, when it warmed up enough to dump snow everywhere.

Now that I've got it all in the new space. I need to get airlines run, and level the cnc's then organize enough to run one job that is due on Tuesday the 17th.

I don't think it ever gets slow around here, because of everything that can be found in the archives.

I was thinking the same exact thing... is there another site people are frequenting? Its cold here and I have no heat in the garage. I haven't seen so few log-ins in a long time. I guess I should got off the chair and do some more useful stuff, too.

Just finished a TA stage 1 SE head install and still getting it dialed in. I think I will need to address traction next as it breaks the tires loose at 40MPH in third. ( not for long but enough to get it a little sideways) I plan on burning up a few gallons of premium tomorrow. I love this site!

lurk mostly lately. I do pop in on facebook occasionally, but I'm not addicted to it

W-31 latest - headliner fun. as nice as a blue interior may be, it's a pita to make sure everything is right. While black would be easier, I'll stick with the blue. And the engine build will be starting very soon.

GT-37 latest - car won't be done this month. but the final sand is being done now.

rent-a-racer latest - it goes back to Kurt this weekend.

Still here! Haven't spent much time in the shop lately, the new job ( 4 years already??!! ) is a 1 hour commute each way, and I work swing-shift Saturday -- Wednesday. Man I sure miss the 4 12-hour shifts. 4 days on and 4 days off allowed for lotsa shop time.
I'm thinking I might have to take one of the projects to a restoration shop to get moving ahead again.
I have spent a couple Friday evenings at my buddies house, helping him get some stuff done on his Nova. Free beer is the trap!!

I'm still here, just not much to say. I haven't been doing anything on my car. Just too down about it. Everybody take care.

In the midst of many changes in my life - packing & moving, looking at building a new place, 11hr-14hr work days, selling my 1/2 of the business, looking at new line of work, instructing my 4H kids in the discipline of riflery, wanting to build a friends stalled father-son project when his son needed a heart-transplant. You know, normal everyday stuff.

Must be a lack of interest or a bunch of cheating going on .I have heard from 3 different people of a GM family engine being built with one of titanium rods and a lightened crank.
