18 hour drive makes this a tough decision for a spectator. Since you are calling it a "MUST GO" event. I'll do what it takes to get there.

Don't drive.....FLY. Get to the event and i am sure you can catch a ride from one of us!

Make sure you fly into Greensboro NC. Not Raleigh or Charlotte.

    Wild Bill See you soon

    Peace

The facility is about 30-40 minutes minutes from either RDU or GSO airports. There are a lot more flights to RDU.

Not too thrilled to be running 1/8 mile, but I'll be there. I heard it was a good time last year, but I needed to stay home and nurse the wife after surgery.

Just want to thank TA performance for coming on board again as a sponsor.

Just want to add another sponsor to the list. Rockauto.com just came on board for the v8 class.

I am taking orders for parts to be delivered Friday morning to this event. Jake--Is there a particular event area where I can park my truck packed with parts?

You can park wherever you like. Last year we had most of the v8 guys right in a row to the right as soon as you drove in. The facility is small so everyone is close.

I first started going to Piedmont over 50 years ago. What time can we get in the track on Friday?

Waiting to hear back from a few more sponsors to see if they are in. We are pretty close to making it a no extra charge to race the class. I think keeping costs down for everyone is important and helps out all.

I'm pretty sure there are people there very EARLY. It's about as laid back as you could get. A very nice venue.
