Shawn and I are heading out this morning across the states to pick up my new Buick. Been a long time coming that involved a whole lot of patience but is paying off in spades. Pictures coming as to what it is when the cash and keys are exchanged, stay tuned
Don't wear out that F5 button Mike! It's a 20 hour round trip and we just left about an hour ago, so it won't be unveiled today. But it's worth it, TRUST ME...
Made it to the hotel in a certain orange tan and fist pumping state. Has been full of action for a boring highway cruise. Wouldn't be an adventure if there wasn't at least a little excitement!
Taulbee sold his old car. The new owner painted it to match yours. He fell in love again, and bought it back?
With your vast knowledge of Buicks, I'm surprised I have to tell you this. There were only about 20 Skylarks and GS's that were painted not green between '70 and '72. Look at the build sheet on your '71. It should have a code AOC on it which of course stands for Any Other Color.
There were a lot of those too. My first car was a Green '71. Maybe that's why I think there's more of them.
Is that a green '72, in the pic? I thought Jason's car was a blue '71. I'm sure he has several others, but the only other one I remember is his beater car. Quit teasing us Taulb, and Shawn. This is worse than a giveaway thread where you have to wait a whole month.
