Solid turn key car, meticulously maintained, nothing is worn out, titled as a 72 GS350, no rust except a little under the trunk mat and under the battery tray. 76 455 block built about 15 years ago, i only raced it a few times around 1K on the engine just to see how fast i could go and keep it streetable, it has a total of less then 10K, zero decked .030 over, polished and peened rods, 11 to 1 compression. 113A cam, ported and polished Stage 1 heads, with dual valve springs and adjustable pushrods. SP1 intake 750 DP carb,1 7/8 chrome headers. Very streetable 500+ HP engine. Balanced and blue printed, It will rev to 6500 rpms and it wants to keep going, I only revved it that high a couple of times after the break in, runs well on pump gas, I boosted up octane when I was racing it. Large 4 row radiator and HD thermal clutch fan, I have driven in traffic at 100+ and it never went over 205 degrees. Rear end is a 8.5 BOB 373 posi, it also has only 10K miles. Transmission is a Kiesler RS600 5 speed manual, with only about 1000 miles on it. Never raced it with the manual, back then it had a 400SP with a 4000 stall, and ran the best of 12.33 at 110 MPH. It was a frame on restoration about 20 years ago, paint and interior is good, vinal top is about 10 years old. Wheels are custom made 15x8 Buick rally's with new bolt on center caps, NOS grill, billet flywheel, QuickTime bell housing, GM mini brushless starter, re anodized break booster, new radiator overflow, front bucket foam was recently replaced, Deltron basecoat clear coat. Has a long list of parts that have been replaced over the years. It has been garaged and hardly driven, for the last 17 years. Comes with original ram air cleaner, and 10.5 slicks mounted on aluminum wheels. Starting at $19,000 OBO More photos to come. Spokane WA. 509-939-5147

    Damn. Love it.

    What was the driveline originally?

Does everything work including reverse lights and does it have a functioning neutral safety switch?

    thanks

Original car was a nice 72 GS 350 Automatic, with buckets and console,Yes on reverse lights, no on switch, If I remember correctly you would need a manual steering column, the center console column looks right.

Nice looking car Kelly. Is the interior 70 or 72 or a combination of both?

To the best of my knowledge I tried to match it to a 70 interior. It does have the smaller rally steering wheel. I just preferred that to the larger original.

Sorry to hear about your wife.

Did the car ever have A/C?

Any bubbles under the vinyl top?

Looking forward to some more photos!

No rust on body and only bondo less then 1/8 thick were required for finish work., there was some small pitting starting on the rear of the vinyl top, so about 10 years ago I pulled off all the vinyl, front and rear window trim and glass. I sand blasted the pits and channels, removing the corrosion. then I applied epoxy primer to the top and window channels, then did the minor body work and replaced all trim clips. Then I repainted the rear quarters and replaced top. new photos added. And it was a non A/C car.

Paint match is great, I was a aircraft painter/sheet metal worker for 25 years and have done auto body on the side for 25 years and I have done all work on this car. Presently a machinist.

It is great that you added more pics but most would agree that the resolution & size of the pictures is frustratingly small.

Also you describe trunk rust under the trunk mat but did not post a picture of the trouble.

Any better & more detailed pics possible?

Columns are the same in auto vs manual.
The switch is actually on the clutch. Starter will not turn if the clutch is not depressed all the way. Same switch used on Pontiac and repros are available.

Sweet looking car btw.. twin to mine

Anyone near where the car is located that could take a look at it for me. Willing to compensate for time.
