I FOUND FOR SALE TWO SETS OF ROCKERS ONE SET IS BLUE THE OTHER IS RED SIXTEEN OF EACH WHAT ARE THESE ???
The Late 90s KB rocker that I have are red they have a KB stamped on the top may also have the ratio stamped on top, the blue rocker could be early KB. Can you post or screen shot sum pics that would help?
hegh hegh, hmmmmmm... check the rollers. the one that has the least play and feels smoothest would be best to use. . did you get shafts too. Its pretty easy to tell newer from old shafts. Im thinking one of them was for through the shaft oiling. the other through the push rod. If one of them does not have the passage to the roller, thats the older one for sure. you can either drill it or use the other one if it has the passage, which it should. Unless they are both older design.
Dave, I was told the the v6 rockers were blue, 455 was red. What are you going to do with the red ones?
The rocker and shafts came as a set I was just trying to find out what the blue ones were for what I can't figure out is why there are 16 of them if they are v6??? they are Machine also see photo
I plan on talking with Gred Catlin today, I'll ask and see if he remembers. I've seen blue KB rockers for sale in the past. Even though there are 16, I still think they are V6. Maybe they ran short of the red ones and built sets of blue.
I have an untouched set of heads with rockers that Dave Benisek sold me years ago, it has a mixture of red and blue rockers. The reds are only on the exhaust, different ratio is my guess. Also your pictured red does not have oil hole at valve tip.....
yes I know but when I got them there were 16 with oil holes that one was just mixed in with the others
Blue - V6, clearanced on the side for the rocker towers, have a bunch here as well. Blue ones, all the red ones got sold
