Jason, Just a thought. What about getting one in any color and painting it like you did your interior. I am shocked how well the color on it matched the original color.
Not as shocked as I was! Its holding up well too. Still looks good. The thought of painting one had crossed my mind, but I'd rather hold out for the right color. I don't. I do have a 16" 1968 simulated wood wheel if your interested.
here are some crappy pics. its hard to gauge the actual color. its pretty beat up. it is much lighter than the wheel in my skylark
Wow, you weren't kidding, that's a pretty crappy picture But it looks to be a 15" wheel, not a 16" thumb groove
what is a thumb groove wheel then? its got the chrome ring around the outside and the notches on the back.. sorry about the pics. its parked in a dark spot in the garage and it's even darker outside
A thumb groove wheel has a depression around the circumference. They came on 69 and 70 Buicks. Your thumb kinds rests in it when your driving. Its also an inch larger around than a 71 and up wheel. A 71 and up wheel actually fits inside the this wheel. I stole this pic off the interweb
