Looks clean in the pics, especially the interior: https://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto/d/1963-buick-riveria/6422475072.html
You are correct, as usual Tom. I didn't notice the heater controls (easiest way for me to tell).....Just posted it as '63 because that's what they've got it out there as. EDIT: Changed the title to say '64
Does those headlights tug inn somewhere, or are they visible at all times? It's seems way to cheap compared to other Rivs.. If anybody would check it out, I'll buy it for that price..
You can put a 65 grille in and hide your headlights in the side markers like my '63 or put some behind the grille....I'm going to put some LEDs behind my grille for highway driving in addition to the side headlights I've got hidden.
Now we're just shy of a board member getting the car for me I'll even pay them to get it to a shipping address
Well, I have 4 days of vacation to use up before the end of the year, and it's about 12 degrees outside right now here....I could probably be coerced into an all expenses paid trip to Miami for a few days if I had to.....You know, to help you out
No problem, just send me all the receipts and I'll double the amount, for your trouble.. Sure hope the letter containing the receipts make it here, the Danish post company is misplacing a lot these days..
Another way is the hood ornament. '63 was a flat disc as opposed to the stand up "R". A '64 hood spear won't fit properly on a '63 unless at one point the hood was changed. The rear deck lid says "Riviera" on the r/rear corner whereas '63 has Buick spelled out in block letters, unless of course the deck lid was changed at one point in time. But, as you mentioned the center console is the bigger issue. Very difficult to change from '63-'64.
I'm sure for that price there's going to be all kinds of little things here and there, but if it's even close to as nice as the pics make it look, it's a fantastic starting point.
