Hello. My search for (18") Forgestar F 14's has landed me in an unexpected position since most sellers only have them in 19". My car is being built for street use with increased handling, and I feel like 18" would have been perfect because I can have more sidewall for the shitty roads in Brooklyn.

    - Seller has: 19x9 (front) and 19x10 (rear)

But im not sure what to do, should I run: 265/40/19 all around or 285/35/19 all around?

Im stuck. Should I keep waiting for an 18"rim to come up for sale? Or should I just get the 19" wheels?

19 inch is only a half inch less sidewall on each side of the tire.
Not a deal breaker if u plan to run a decent tall tire.

That's true, thanks for the feedback! Would you happen to know if anyone on the forums (or in general) has fit 285/35/19 in the front? From the specifications, it should fit by diameter/circumference, height, etc. It's just the width I'm worried about

I run 8,5X19 with 235/40-19 and 10X19 with 265/30-19 and they fit well.. The sidewall of the tire is flush with the rim..

If you want more tire, I would run what the 265/40 in front and the 285/35 in the rear, that would put the tire just a little over the rim..

You can check out willtheyfit.com if in any doubt, but I think you'll be fine..

Take a look at the price of tires. A close friend went down from 19" to 18" wheels on his GTR and the 18" tires were way cheaper due to higher demand. Something to look into...

Yeah the 18's are considerably cheaper lol. Im just gonna continue looking for the 18's cause I'm in no rush. Winter slowed down the project as I work outside and have no garage :(
