I need to get the outside rear window trim for my Wildcat. I see that there is a reproduced trim for the 65-66 Impala 2dr hardtop. Seeing that they are both full-size GM B-body cars and have what seems to be an identical roof shape would anyone know if the rear window molding would fit on the Wildcat? One thing I can confirm is that I bought 65-66 Impala windscreen and it fits my 66 Wildcat. So I'm thinking the rear should be the same. I have looked at many photos of both cars and it seems the same but I don't know of an Impala that I can go and measure to confirm. This is my Wildcat's rear window This the classic industries reproduction for a 65-66 Impala 2dr hardtop, shape looks right but no sizes to measure This a photo I found of a 66 Impala. Looks like same to me. Marco
I have a '66 "Cat" 2 dr. hdtp. I'm parting out. I will check the condition of the trim & take pics as soon as the snow melts some.
Thank you. I will appreciate that, and there may be more moldings, both inside and outside, that I may need.
Marco, I checked the car over this past week-end. It has 2 pieces missing & I DON'T remember removing them. So in total there are 4 pieces required NOT the 5 pictured for the Impala, although they MAY fit. You must be careful using Chevy stuff as a lot of the trim was aluminum NOT stainless. I DO have ALL the side trim & wheel opening moldings ALL in good condition except for one that has a small dent in it. I also have a VERY GOOD grille with very LITTLE pitting if you may need one of those also. I also have many other parts. Let me know if I can be of any help. I will let you know if I find/come across the missing moldings. Tom T.
