What was the year and final price? Sounded like it was one of the top selling cars today. Any other info would be great
The owner claimed the car had Every option available, even trumpet horns mounted on the under side of the hood, the same fellow had the red black 69 riv.
Now that’s some respect! I may be getting priced out of the market, but it’s about time people realize Buicks are nicer cars (and faster, better built, better looking) than their bowtie wearing cousins. Patrick
I believe they said almost every option, dual quad. I saw it on tv but from the next room. It looked very nice!
It's supposed to have every option. I popped over to the Riviera owners group forum and there's a lot wrong with it. Not supposed to have a vinyl top and the top they added is a material from Ford, for starters. I'd have had no idea and just thought it was gorgeous.
I thought vinyl tops were available in 65 in black. I didn't see a autronic eye on the dash. Not sure if it's the correct spelling. The thingy that kicks off your high beams when another cars headlights hit it. Tom
This one was too early in the production run to have it. And it still has the trim under the back window that a car without a vinyl top would have....as I said, things I wouldn't know but cool there are guys that do.
The car reminded me a lot of Chris's (Crack spider) car ,vinyl top, horns, loaded I'm courious if he will chime in on his opinion
A friend of mine checked it out on Sunday, said it was pretty nice, other than the vinyl top that was added. I would like to see the cowl tag to see what options it came with. I didn't see any options on it that mine doesn't have. Not sure if that one had cruise or not. Mine also has the autronic eye automatic headlight dimmer. Great price for the seller!
The one camera angle looking through the drivers door it appeared to have T80 Guide-Matic Headlight Control but it was tough to see. I was not able to see if it had the cruise control switch or the accessory switch for the rear window defroster. Also impossible to tell if it had the automatic trunk release from TV. The Barret-Jackson website states all documentation since new. This car also had the proper stance, so many restored cars sit way to high. Very nice to see the respect for the 1965 Riviera that they deserve.

Chris or Davis, does anyone have any info on the earliest vin know to date? I heard somewhere that Mooney is claiming to have it. Mine is a small emblem early car. Tom
It had the automatic headlight dimmer on the dash, remote trunk release in the glove box and power side vent windows. A school teacher apparently ordered the car new and checked every option box?
