There's a car in the local ads that is priced very good owner says it was crashed while parked by a drunk driver front tire looks out of place, this guy just wants to get rid of it. I remember my mom's car kind of look like this and I fixed it and it was just the the axle but these kind of cars are front wheel drive and the transmission connects to the axles so kind of worries me. What do you guys think, is this a quick fix
The damage far exceeds the value of the car. Besides the cost of the parts, Id be suspicious of frame/ shock tower damage. By the time your done, you'll have $2500 in a $700 car
we can't do anything besides speculate by looking at pictures. The tin work can be replaced cheap. that wheel is out of place which could be a broken ball joint(cheap) or all sorts of bent parts. you'll have to do some digging.
Look at it with a friend. That way one of you may spot what the other may miss. I've fixed quite a few, but when a frame shop needs to be involved, it gets expensive. I've straightened some, like that with a come-a-long, a pipe over a bumper jack for a porta-power and a tape measure. Sometimes they needed an alignment afterwards, but they drove straight.
