Locking harware for the 1971-72 Skylark center caps

Now offering a lock-kit to use with NOS 1971 and later Skylark center caps. These will work with NOS caps that were assembled with screws and the "riveted" style. The non-screw or "riveted" versions were actually a mistake made by the vendor and never really fit the wheel right. If you grind off the rivets, you should find 4 bosses that you can tap for a threaded screw.

These straps are easy to retrofit your NOS Skylark bezels so they won't get lost to the "5-finger discount" when you're at a cruise night and walk away from your car.

Price is $35 for a set of 4 lock kits with all attaching hardware. Postage included.

So, these locks bolt on from the rear? Can you post a pic of the set?

So, the kit comes with the 4 bars and the 4 rings that bolt to the center cap? Bolts too?

 

These are pictures of the 70 center caps 71 and 72 should be similar I think it's just the bars and the self Tapping screws that screw into the ring. I would go to his website there's pictures there.

 

Here's a picture of the back showing the straps. It is similar to the 1965–70 GS that I developed years ago.

Are the lock bars and hardware made of stainless steel?

The inner bar attached to the chrome bezel is stainless. The other in the photo is nickel plated but I can furnish a stainless for both.
