Not mine...i haven't seen one that went this high on bidding. Why would you repaint a 16K car and even put covers over the headrests...also check out the dash near headlamp switch and brake pedal...what do you think? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Buick...ash=item4d736b965f:g:MfIAAOSwzYpa8wcw&vxp=mtr
The pictures are heavily doctored and enhanced. Having had, been around and dealt with lots of ultra low mileage cars, low mileage doesn’t guarantee excellent paint. The low option list is the biggest turn off for me on this car
Yes, i know about the paint. A factory original paint (maybe less perfect due to age) would be my preference. The same goes for the engine compartment. The low option list is a bit of a turn off right. Especially on a Riviera. On a Skylark it would be different and maybe even cool to have no options at all except for Power Steering.
Check out the right front passenger fender to door alignment. When do you see one with perfect front and rear bumper alignment...
You guys are Funny I painted because it was uncared for and sat packed in a Garage with **** for 45 plus years . Looks like they walked over the whole car, dents every where . The Garage wast most likely damp and wet . Connecticut wreathed car . I had to trash the original hood and get Yardley's less dented hood lol Trunk felt was in ugly shape I told my buddy to replace it . The gaps were crappy to begin with Lol . It's a GM . 75/75 color code & it most likely was a dealer installed Top . Ugly I wanted to paint it black amd lose the old Man black Hat . The body is laser straight . It could use a few minor details yes .
Yes, picked this car up in Trumbull Ct and the mileage is original. The brake shoes bear the factory markings are in like new condition- never once changed. Car has factory plugs, wires, cap, radiator hoses. The vinyl top was a dealer add at the request of the original owner. Original owner bought the car as a retirement present to himself nd promptly died. His wife did not drive, but she wouldn’t sell it, so it sat. She died and the car went to her oldest son and he just stored it, as Nick stated, not exactly treated great. I bought it from him when he was selling his house and moving to Florida. Low option, but real deal low mileage. I sold the car so I have no dog in the fight, just trying to give some back story.
