Have not really pushed selling this car....But I will not be doing anything with it...If it does not sell I will part out... I will sell car as is with a regular Skylark hood. I also have tons of new and used parts I will offer to whom ever purchases the car for additional $$$ I've come to the realization that I don't have the skills, time or $$$ to restore this car so I am putting it up for sale to hopefully someone who will. This is a family car. My grandmothers that she purchased new and I have held onto for 30+ years. It was involved in several accidents when my grandmother was still driving it. Front end damage was minor but a replacement front end was acquired from another skylark many years ago. And right rear quarter panel was damaged on another incident. Probably could be fixed if you have a good body man. #'s motor and trans are gone(long story). Basically a rolling chassis and body. Car is located in Gonzales, Louisiana. What you see is what you get. I also have many parts I have gathered over the years that will be available as well. And also a 66 Post Special parts car. If this car doesn't sell I will part out( really don't want to do that though). Will be listed on multiple sites. Price drop $2300 or make offer
You mean both cars and all my 66 parts? I'd have to make a list and set a $$$ to each part. Short list of extra parts. 1. Used RH quarter to fix GS if it cant be repaired 2. Brand new Black steering wheel 3. NOS rear tail lights 4. Core Support 5.Fuel tank pad 6. (2) sets of GS scoops. 1 set is pristine 7. (2) sets of GS motor mounts, plates, frame pads 8. (2) sets of GS exhaust manifolds 9. Several grilles and headlight surrounds 10 Rebuilt 401 motor and rebuilt ST 300 trans, new converter 11. Rochester carb and 401 intake for it. 12. Black dash pad 13. Radiator shroud (reproduction) And many more. So just in parts alone I’ve got a lot of $$$ worth of parts.
I had a 66 GS in that same color combination but it was a post car.. traded it in for a 1979 Plymouth champ
Hello Todd, I would be interested in several parts when you decide what you are going to do with the car and the extra stuff. Please let me know and I will send you a list. Thanks!
Cars for sale. I'll decide on parts later unless someone wants to make a all together offer. I'd like to see a few pics of your cars..Can you PM me some. Especially the Cortez Gold 71. My 72 Suncoupe was originally that color and I may repaint at a later date back to original color. Todd
Todd, what about putting it on a trailer and taking it to the car corral at crusing the coast next week? I've seen some crazy asking prices on stuff sell pretty fast there and there is a bigger audience than here, I think. Plus, just an observation, but we tend to be tight wads at times.
