Looking to trade my 65' Riv GS for a 70' Gran Sport 455 Stage 1 convertible-MORE PICS & SCROLL DOWN

Miss my old convertible! May be crazy but considering trading my 65' Riv GS fully optioned all matching numbers blk on blk excellent condition. Looking for a 70' Gran Sport 455 Stage 1 convertible (manual transmission if possible).

Where in wine country? Lived there on De Portola almost 25 years. Still go to old house to teach tennis 4 nights a week. Can't buy it, I put a 455 in everything I own. Looking at lawn mower now????? It is a convertible! That is one awesome car!

 

Beautiful Riv, Tony. An interested buyer (not on this forum) has asked what it would take to bring your Riv back up to standard ride height? Just springs? Or, more than that. Also, what are the build specs on the motor?

Also, if you are able to locate the '70 Stage 1 you're looking for is a three way deal possible? My friend doesn't have a Stage 1.

Hello. I just purchased correct OEM springs from Coil Spring Specialties who are the only people that will produce the correct spec 65 Riv GS springs in the country. Will be putting them on this Monday to bring it back to correct GS height specs. I couldn't handle it being lowered while it looks sexy it's not good to drive on uneven roads! Lol. Not sure what you're talking about a 3 way deal? Engine is original 425CI dual quads matching number engine. The specs are on the sign in one of the pics above. Tony, my email is "buickparts@verizon.net" We can go for a burger sometime. Looking for your S1 convertible. I think the 3 way is, his friend buys the Riv cash, finds a S1 seller and you buy from that person cash. You do the transaction all at the same time so everyone is happy. (probably all not in the same state). Sound convoluted? Yep. Actual deal sounds like this. Sell the Riv cash, You find S1 vert and pay cash. Easy deal, not so easy to find!
