hi guys! I am getting too old and weak to lift my stock hood w/cowl induction. willing to try a glass hood . want a bolt on with lite weight springs. will consider used hood no junk or new w/cowl ind. any input will be helpful. have used glass on race only never on street car. what is weight of stock hood? thanks.kenny462

My hood is from vfn, it is a pin on, but they make bolt on. They will even lay the cowl for too. Mine has the cowl.....I ended up having to add extra support under the hood to keep it from blowing up......... Biggest change that help was when I bent a fuel tube to simulate the hood latch and got it working with the stk latch. I bought mine used and it has holes for 4 fasteners on each side........not sure how the previous owner kept the hood on the car as he was going faster than me. But it would lift so much I could road under the hood...
