Can you post some pics of the glass? Are they clean, scratched, etc.?

How much for the Stage 1 and what would you be interested in trading for.

    Hi,

    Here are the pics.

Here's what I saw. When it comes to glass I think in terms of scratches that I can catch a finger nail in as if it's light I can typically polish it out. There are no finger nail catchers on either piece. There are some light scratches as expected, but I'd call them minimal. There's a line where the sweepers lay on both windows. I don't believe these are visible as they should be at or below the sweepers in the quarter panel. Both windows are soft ray, I tried to capture the lettering in the pics so look hard. The chrome is there on both pieces and usable with light scratches with minor pitting, if any. The guide rollers are there as well, kind of nice to have those.

The cost is $160 shipping included in continental US, that's guessing the shipping cost about $40.

    Hi Ken,

I'm asking 62k. There's a lot to the story in terms of the restoration quality and the cars condition prior. After restoration, the previous owner had it scored at the GS Nats and I believe it was 395 out of 400. 78k miles. I've maybe put 300-400 miles in the 6-7 years of ownership; drive it once in the fall and once in the spring. Sits in my shop that's heated and air conditioned, under a cover. BTW, I'm a guy that believe fully in full disclosure no matter what I sell so I will share everything I know about it. I don't like surprises, unless it's my birthday. lol

Trades? I like all types of cars. I'm trying to thin the herd but I also realize a partial trade may help enable a deal. If you want to PM me with your thought, please do so.

Hey Scott, if they are similar to the others I was interested in, I would like to see them. They are for our '65 Skylark. I'm not worried about them being 'original' colors. We are running 15" rallys so already incorrect. :D

    Hey Jerry,

I noticed this in your question after I posted last, "Are the '71-'75 black center caps sold? Thank You". I sold some NOS 71-75 already, I also sold what I call 1975 (might be off a year), they look like the 71-74 but the centers have a black background. Those I have more of and what I was describing. I also have some of the finned caps so 65-70, but they're parts caps, and not complete. However, if you're handy with a drill and screws you can work with these some, which is why I hung onto them. I only mention this as it looks like your car list are first gen caps. Let me know, I'm more than happy to send whatever pics you want.

    Thank.

    Hi bigce1972,

Let me know if I missed any pics. I've had this air cleaner for a really, really long time. My first car was a 72 skylark in high school that I bought a GS hood for. I bought the air cleaner and never used it (ran your typical "go fast" one lol). At that time, I painted the air cleaner, had an extra sticker and bought the foams. As you can tell the foams haven't had a hood shutting on them. However, I did this so long ago that I believe all the foams that were available back then were the taller one.

I hate to say something is perfect or near perfect, so I won't, but I will say this is very nice. The buckets are in great condition, all the screws are there and tight. Let me know if you'd like me to look at something specific.

Thank You. I would, most likely be interested in the 'black' caps. If the finned caps are the larger style, I don't really care for them. I may have a couple of those as well. Pics would be welcome.
