    Great score, Scott!

When you get a chance, can you get a clear shot of the hose that goes from the radiator to the overflow tank?

It is not correct , the hose from the tank to vent is correct though.

I bought a re cored SJ radiator today . You can bet I will find that hose when it gets put in the car..

    I saw that.

That hose is a tough one to get a hand on, though.

Funny you mention that Ryan being that I recently bought a nice pair of them. I was looking in the assembly manual for something else not long ago, but happened across the page showing them and unless I completely missed something (I was in a hurry and have been meaning to go back & look again) '70 GS 350's did not come with Cross Bar stiffeners. '71-72 did because the 455 was simply an option rather than a separate series as in '70. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.

    Wow!!
This is a fantastic car! Congratulations, and thanks for all of the detailed pics. It’s definitely inspiring and I really love the color combo.

Drive that thing and enjoy it!

So I checked 2 versions of Assy. Manual pg./dwg. 11.4.3 (Revs. 2/3 & 4/24 of '70) and while I'd bet that a few '70 GS 350's rolled off the line by mistake with the "braces" (I'm quite sure none of the assy. line workers were sitting home @ night studying their Assy. manuals and probably were barely paying attention during training:)) and I'm pretty sure I put them on my last '70 GS 350 build, the only cars that should've come with them are GS 455 and GS 455 & Skylark convertibles.

I'm sure on Scott's car, they were never there and if they were, the marks from the hardware would still be present.

What jumped out @ me on Scott's beautiful survivor was the black dash bezel. I'm sure my old Dark Saddle bucket seat car had a woodgrain dash and unless I'm mistaken, afaik, it should've had the woodgrain overlay. Maybe they ran out of bezels with woodgrain that day or it was simply a mistake on the line or the line worker thought black would look better w/dark saddle:).

Dano is correct . I checked last night and the holes in the radiator support have never had anything in them. The black paint is in the holes . They are not there and have never been on this car. The black dash bezel has stumped me since I saw the photos on the eBay auction. The bezel on this car does look original in looks to the radio bezel also. I will think it has been there since day 1 , but do not have solid proof of that. It does look better than faded woodgrain ! Thanks to all of the comments that you guys have put on here.

My 70 GS350 car never had the cross braces on the support either

Radiator support braces were standard in 1970 GS 455 and GS Stage 1 cars.

Regular 1970 Skylarks and GS 350 cars did nor receive them.
