I tried installing LED signal (turn and brake) lights on my 57 Buick but can't find the right flasher. I called SuperBrightLights lights but they were no help. I bought 2 solid state flashers, but neither worked. I got a Novita EP35 that did not work, but I found the polarity is wrong. I then got a Novita EP34, which has the correct polarity, but it did not work either. Any suggestions as to which flasher will work? If not, I guess the load resistor is what I need to do.

Does your car require a 3-pronged flasher? If so, my thread isn't going to help much. Those two I posted in the linked thread worked for my 70 & 71 GSs. The first one from Amazon is supposed to work regardless of polarity if it is a two pole flasher. The separate ground wire worked for me. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GIU9M0Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This 2 pole one also worked and I got it locally at an Advance Auto. It works fine too! https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/novita-heavy-duty-flasher-el12/5081289-P
I used the three prong digital flasher (with clicking) by adding a ground wire to the correct prong. (CF13JL-02: 3 Pin Black Japanese Flasher) https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...f13jl-02-led-bulb-electronic-flasher/783/837/ In the 1964 fuse block, the top right corner of the block is "cut away" so that when the flasher is inserted, the third/ground prong is clear of the block, and a spade terminal on a short ground with a serrated ring terminal grounded to the firewall. Hope that helps.
I converted my 65 over to all LED. I got an zLED flasher off Amazon. Grounded it and it works. After cancelingthe turn signal I still get usually 3 clicks more from the flasher before it stops. But it does it flash the lights after I cancel.
I followed that but I get no brake lights when the running lights are on. Used the super bright red LED and the Novita flasher
I have not yet. Temporarily moved on to the cigarette lighter and a few other things. I’ll keep you posted.
