I don't remember Mark, lol over 550 hp and less than 650 hp at the wheels. on 6psi and 27 deg. total timing. started to go lean at 5600rpm so we shut it down.it was still climbing, will make some fuel delivery improvements then make some more pulls. then increase the timing some.I also have a 8psi pulley if I dare. ha-ha gary
To steal an ad line from Pontiac, that car is a device for shrinking time and distance... And I would go to the store more often, too!
Welcome to the club. I just got my "little motor" back in the car. You run a lot more timing than I am. Link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/140...14282533521¬if_t=feedback_reaction_generic
I saw that, nice job. Where are you with timing? I've talked to brother Csordas, procharge guru, he runs 30+ in his motor. I'm staying more conservative.
I love this I played it realllllllllllllllllll loud. My wife gave me the look. I have to admit the dyno pulls scare me, I saw one pull in person I walked towards the door in a cool but quick manor
My butt puckered the first pull too. But then I remembered the race cars have transbrakes and its what I do on the starting line.
We are running 38 degrees of timing and then start pulling as the boost comes in. I believe we are down around 26 degrees with 10 pounds of boost.
Very nice on the dyno. Glad it's starting to come together. I am sure you were impressed with the real numbers it made.
I am so chicken chips. At 8 pounds of boost I am pulling 14 degrees so that is around 22 degrees total. All iron motor. Gary, the crank, rods and pistons are from a shortblock I bought from you 15 years ago! I would add some timing but the thing hits like a ton of bricks now. Don't know what I am going to do for traction with the "big" motor.
