Cruise poloosa is Back in Butler Pa.

The town complained about closing the town for a car cruise. ( the businesses complained) But it is back after a couple years . It’s a Big Show small town But a lot of Gearheads. Sunday 12:00
7:00 have not had the Buick out in a year. Fine tuned and ready. Will be enjoyable. Hope to see Buick’s there

Might have to take a ride up, Is it worth the ride from Robinson area? Have you been to Beaver hot summer nights Steve, how does it compare to that?

 

It used to absolutely fill Main Street and side streets.

It is or at least was comparable to the Beaver event

 

Been to the Butler AK Steel plant while working for them in Middletown, Ohio. Neat town, also have neighbor
who is from there. Remember going to dinner at Natilies or some thing like that. It was great, right out of
the Godfather movie. Is it still there? Also never had one but has famous hot dog place if still there.

 

The originals are both long gone, there is a Natli’s North and another hot dog shop Both still in Butler. Both were Butler landmarks.

I bought the Natili home baby grand and mantel clock at auction a couple decades ago.

Butler Main St used to be a destination, best shopping outside of Pittsburgh

 

Natili is gone Yes I’ve eat’ n there. Excellent old school Italian restaurant. Only problem for me My wife is Italian and excellent cook, so I don’t eat out Italian. Its every week for me

 

But there is Burger hut. Best damn Burger joint on the planet. Chili frys to die for

I know it’s far. But 3500 cars are usually there.

 

Yes, Burger Hut is awesome and been around forever. Snack-n-Pack used to have Tornado fried to die for. (Fries/cheese/bacon or Pepperoni/ranch)

 

Yes Snack n pack the bomb! That old lady can cook. Dem guys where talkin about The hot dog shop they use to use those German frankfurters very good. They caught fire burnt down. There is a brewery there now (new) for all the yuppies

 

But I like beer

 

Just went to Purvis and got my 115 octane and ethanol free mix . Look out. Tires will spin

 

We are lucky they brought this cruise back. Let the kids learn

 

I used to eat there as a kid when we would come over from Kittanning to shop. I lived in Butler when I first got married and for a couple years after my divorce.

 

There’s a bar in front of the old site of the Pullman Standard building. Famous Burgers very Big and delicious

 

wow. I think Beaver only gets about 2,000

 

I don’t know everyone said they could not find a place to park in beaver. And they roll up long before 7:00 am Also heard guys dropped cars night before. They have a guy (security) there all night before

 

The Moon cruise may be the Biggest,! Not sure. That’s coming up soon
