Alternator fried. Wife drove it til it died 1 mile from house. Replaced alternator. Now driver A/C is fine. Pass A/C blows red hot, i.e. heater is fully engaged. I could understand if low voltage fried something. But is there possibly something I can reset?
Most modern cars use actuators to control the doors in the climate control system. They can go bad or get out of wack if power is interrupted while the system is on. If the actuator is still good, the system may be able to be reinitialized with a tech2 scan tool, or, you may need to replace it. The actuators have small electrical motors with gears that move the doors.
there is an Enclave forum and it is valuable for information on all years since 2008. Actuators going bad are frequently mentioned. www.enclaveforum.net
Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then reconnect & start is up but do not touch A/C controls for a few minutes & let it learn itself before you try setti ng controls
