Ray Coyote has never had one . Believe it or not Buick did not offer one for sale with the Stage 2 package . They were not legal in alot of the NHRA classes also
Thanks to Pat and Guy for bringing the beasts to Flint this weekend. Got to see both of your beautiful cars side-by-side yesterday. Highlight of the Buick area for me. Two truly awesome cars and great stories to go with them. Both of you seemed busy so I didn't want to bother you to introduce myself. Didn't realize you lived so close to me Pat. I'll be sure to say "Hi" next time I see you. Scott
I'm just going to ask Is the repro window stickers correct as far as they might of been back in the day if they were to have a production Stage2 ? or what i'm really asking is doe's the Coyote have the X 4 bolt main block? And to just which car's did Buick give the few and rare 4 bolt main blocks too?? I would think Guy's Parquette ex Kenne Bell test mule would of been one.
I don't know if Pat's car has the experimental 4 bolt main block, but Mark, Duane and I can help him with that if he wants one....
I never get sick of reading articles on this car or viewing the pictures of it! I remember reading about this car back in the Jim Turner days. I use to show the articles to my Chevy buddies in an attempt to teach them they're running the wrong brand! It didn't work but they learned the hard way how fast these cars were!
I remember Jim telling a story about the local DPS officer setting up his Radar to check the speed of the Stage 2 when he raced a LS6 Chevelle, the Chevelle owner lost a lot of money that night. That Diplomat Blue GS is still beautiful, nice pics!
Yes please don't let this thread die out!! I wan't more info no matter how small or no matter how many times it was mentioned
