I would take 2 of each, especially if you will have them in time for pick up at Bowling Green. It made me sad to see an original go when I had to replace the windshield last year. Thanks for getting them made !!
Buick at top is correct. scan looks clipped on left side.....lmk if you cannot get a perfect scan....i have 2 original stickers..... Peace WildBill
Briz, the one you posted is the original style. The one in post #24 is the second design. I don't remember when the change over occurred, late 80's/early 90's.,
Any suggestions on how to go about taking orders, receiving payment and shipping all of these? Easy thing for me would be to run it through Ebay and paypal. I know they will get a cut like always but all the info is there and mailing labels ready to print. Only other way would be a PM/ paypal with info in the comments box and then to ship. Ideas?
Post your paypal address and ship the orders as the paypal orders come in. Make sure you specify "friends and family" and that they clearly state: -How many decals and what type. -Their shipping address Also make sure you specify if you have free shipping or flat rate $1.50 (or some amount). Postage does get expensive. Keep an excel spread sheet with the orders, payments and ship dates. This will also help you keep inventory. Get a receipt from the post office because this shows where it was shipped and when. Inevitably there will be some orders that don't make it to their destination and its a good sanity check that you actually shipped them, or not. Set up what your policy is for shipments that don't arrive, damaged shipments, etc, because S__T happens and there is no need for hassles for the buyer or seller. Don't forget you will have overhead expenses like shipping labels, envelops, cardboard inserts to keep the decals from bending. Some people do not have paypal so figure out if you want to accept personal checks. Sounds like a lot but a little pre work keeps the chaos down when the orders start flying in.
I agree with Mike. Plan on definitely making some kind of profit on it to absorb unforeseen overhead. If you think ebay is easiest, than do that and just figure Ebay's cut in. I kind of see it as 2 markets, strike here first and then go to ebay with a higher price. It would even be cool if you could kick Richard back something, even if it was a "token" thing at the end. If somebody says they don't want to do F+F, then tell them to add X% to the cost. Obviously, this is taking some time and effort on your part. Know that we appreciate it!
Pm and paypal probably easiest. Definately tack on a s&h fee for your troubles and direct costs. Judging by the response it will be a quick sell out!
I prefer the second style, personal preferences and all that, plus still have my original on my 1/4 window, any chance they could be made in the future?
