Hey guys, looking for a gs hood for my 71 Skylark. Let me know what you got, thanks. No fiberglass.

Thanks Hector! I found this whole car on Craigslist with a gs hood for cheap and the guy isn't responding. It's so frustrating! Haha Let me know if you find it.

Chris.... I have ONE LAST PERFECT, NO RUST, NOT TWEAKED OR TWISTED, NO ACCIDENTS, STRAIGHT ... EXCELLENT 71-72 GS HOOD... This was the best of the best of 10+ of hoods I sold over the years, twixt $1100 and $1400 each!
    Doubt you will find better.
I also have restored inserts/scoops, nice seal plates, GS air cleaners, support braces and new foams too!
Might even have a decent hood trim...??

(NOTE: the LAST PIX is VINTAGE CIRCA 1986-87 as I was moving some of my inventory into a new shop)

Chris, there is a super nice one in Winter Park that a friend of mine owns. It's prepped and ready for paint. He wants $800. PM me for his name and number.

Thanks guys for the offers but I'm looking for something cheaper, I know those are decent prices you're giving me, but not in the budget right now.

Let me know if you guys have any cheap Skylark hoods.

Skylark or GS? No such thing as a cheap GS hood unless lots of repair and rework is needed. $700 or $800 is almost a giveaway for a good one.

I said cheap Skylark hood, non gs.

And I almost got a whole gsx clone car with a gs hood for $1800, so I just need to wait for another amazing deal I guess.

Local yard has a cheap skylark hood, probably could get it from yard owner for under $100. But am in southern New Mexico.

I appreciate the offer but the shipping would be too much.

Likely very close to Greyhound's size/bulk limit. And a Pita to package. You should be able to find an old regular hood close by, one would think!
