Looking for 2.73 or 2.93 gears 1970

I'm looking for a good set of 2.73 or preferably 2.93 gears for my 70 GS, Will require ship yo FL 33166

I have a complete 1970 2:93 posi rear. Will separate.

 

FYI they are not BOP gears as Brian well knows. They are 68-70 Buick only 8.2 gear sets. They are not the same as 8.2 BOP gears.

Correct. This is a 1970 Buick GS 2:93 posi rear. I think the code is “LO”. It’s been awhile since I looked.

I have a rear out of a 68 GS 400 I will have to see what gears it has and let you know tomorrow

Here are my 2:93’s. These came out of a 68 GS 400 convertible that was driven up here 2hrs,and I did an upgrade to 3:42’s and a new posi. This was in 2012,and they have been packed in a box ever since. There is some sort of goober at the head end of one tooth,but they were running fine when removed.
I also have a set of 2:73’s,but I still need to remove them.

 

I went ahead and disassembled my “LO” code 2:73 posi rear. 2 surprises: no posi and it has 3:23’s. This is just a weird car.

 

I will wait a little longer to see if he responds. If I do take it apart I will be selling the posi as well

If you split yours up,I might need those axle shafts. I have an 8.2” coming here with no shafts,and since they are missing,I suspect that it is a 68-69. Hoping that it is 1970.
