Now that would be a fun class to have at the Nats, "GSN" for GS Nostalgia. Must be all pre 1980 parts, ..give or take. That would be a blast
I love that Idea. I really like the cool look of some of the vintage parts people have on there cars. There is a class at other events that I believe is called "Day 2" meaning the day after you bought the car new what you would have put on it if it was back in the day.
Very nice car Frank. Love it. I wish mine was a sweet black 1970 stage1/4spd …… I have a 1970 GS455 sitting since 1997, bought in 1982 as a high school everyday driver/race car. Well wife, kids, house, life got in the way. I do start it every year but no driving.... It's a day 2 car - Mickey Thompson headers, early B4B, Accell supercoil/wires, ladder bars, B&M slap shifter, ET slots, dual sport mirrors, and Chevy 12 bolt posi. The thing rides like a tank but fun...….one day it'll be back on the road - Lon
Love the Slot Mag wheels Lon. One of my first cars I ever owned I put a set of them on it and loved them. Old school for sure.
Stinger S - 4 trigger is firing the MSD box and the C107 cam is in the trunk the car currently running a GSCA SP-2 I miss the KB C 107 nasty idol.
Here's some more vintage day 2 speed parts 70s vintage this tact was on the steering column when I bought the car.
Have you ever seen this on a Buick. Here's a picture of the windshield wiper motor that was on the car when I bought it with washer delete.
Found this picture today, vintage 1987 Polaroid right after fresh dupont diamond black lacquer with clearcoat. Not urethane.
