70 - 72 GS hood with the spring so it's technically for a 71-72. A few dings here and there from storage but overall a nice solid hood $850. Also, original assembly line 70 - 72 LH fender appears to be original paint, brace and dog leg are solid $350. Located in Southern Maryland.

    Hi,
Just curious, what does "assembly line fender" mean?

One that was originally installed on the assy. line, which on the '70-72 (actually '70 is very slightly different than '71-72) which matters more on these years because the NOS fenders, from very early on, were assembled incorrectly and to have them fit properly, they must be cut apart & re-welded. It's a lot of work, but they can be tweaked to fit perfectly. I've only ever used NOS & honestly am torn on using original on my current projects as I have a feeling I'll wind up not being happy with the way they fit after being able to have complete adjustability on the NOS once they're all cut apart.
